Going to college : a curse or a bless

Life changing experience

From being a high school student to a college student is such a life changing journey, like starting a new chapter in life. Some students can be surprised by the amount of responsibility because they will find themselves alone for the first time. They won't have someone to count on and to take care of them. Others might see it as a chance to be independent and free for the first time in their life. It's all about each one’s point of view but in the end it's their journey to go through. Life in high school is not that easy also because every step you take will affect your college choice and make you closer to your goals that's why there will be so much pressure. Yet it is a life changing experience

You would meet new people and have new relationships. It's like going through your first day in kindergarten but your parents won't be there for you at the end of the day. You have to comfort yourself. Some people are used to be alone, study alone eat alone but in colleges you have to be social because you'll need to join clubs without mentioning your roomate if you are going to be in a dormitory or a rented apartment. Basically you need to work on your social communication skills, however you have to keep some limits for yourself to avoid the dangerous impact of some people. College is a time of self-discovery, a time when you can forget aboutthe labels and judgement of others and just be yourself.

As a normal high school graduate you must have expectations but there is nothing to worry about. You will learn from every mistake because you're no longer a teenager you're a responsible person that has decisions to make and work to develop one’s personality. As a college student let me tell you the biggest mistake I've made so that you can learn from my experience: please attend your classes and by attending I mean sit, listen and concentrate. Don't let the freedom given to you lead you wrong never be afraid to ask for clarification. It's their job and your right. But I don't mean there is no fun. It's the best time of your life you will definitely enjoy your time going in camping trips joining different clubs and meeting new people so enjoy every second of your college experience and you'll be fine out there
